Get In Touch

Let's Start With an Assessment.

Every engagement begins with a conversation. We learn where you are, what is working, and what is not — then map a clear path forward. No commitment required. We have been doing this for over 25 years.

What Happens Next

From Form to Forward Path.

An assessment with SyTech is structured, low-commitment, and built around understanding your environment before any recommendations are made.

STEP 01

Initial Conversation

We schedule a 30-minute call to understand your current state, goals, and the platforms you already own and operate.

STEP 02

Assessment

We map your records environment, identify quick wins, and surface the structural issues worth solving first.

STEP 03

Path Forward

You receive a clear plan structured around Organize, Unify, and Scale — with phased options and no obligation to proceed.

What You Walk Away With

What an Assessment Actually Covers.

The first conversation is short. What follows is structured. By the end of an assessment, your team owns a clear picture of where your records environment is — and a defensible plan for what comes next.

  1. A current-state map of your records environment — where data lives, what governs it, and what's working.
  2. A compliance posture aligned to your retention requirements and audit obligations.
  3. An accessibility assessment — who can find what, how long it takes, and where the friction is.
  4. A retention and lifecycle plan that simplifies what your team currently manages by hand.
  5. A prioritized path forward — sequenced by impact and feasibility, with cost ranges your finance team can plan against.
Before the Conversation

What to Have Ready (Optional).

The assessment call works without any prep — we'll lead the conversation. But if you want to come in with a clearer picture, these four things help us move faster.

  • A rough sense of which cloud platform your agency operates in — Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or both.
  • The records area causing the most friction right now: paper backlog, e-forms tool, legacy DMS, retention compliance, or something else.
  • Your approximate user count and the departments most affected.
  • Any procurement constraints we should know about up front — RFP cycles, fiscal year timing, existing master agreements.
Common Questions

Before You Reach Out.

Is the assessment really free?

Yes. The assessment is a working conversation — we learn your environment, identify quick wins, and outline a path forward. No deliverable charge. No obligation to engage further. If we are not a fit, we will tell you.

How long does an assessment take?

The first conversation is usually 30 minutes. If we go deeper into a specific records area, a follow-up working session is typically 60 to 90 minutes. We do not run multi-week discovery engagements before an agency knows whether we are the right partner.

We are early in our procurement cycle. Should we still reach out?

Yes — earlier is often better. Procurement cycles in the public sector are long, and the right time to talk is well before an RFP goes out. We will not pressure your timeline. We will help you understand what is possible and what to ask for when you are ready.
